Thomas Tartaglia, CPA joined Dermody, Burke & Brown in January 1990 after working 8 years in the private business sector. Tom has over 28 years experience in both industry and public accounting with over 20 years in corporate and personal taxation. He specializes in corporation and partnership taxation and sales tax. Tom has significant experience with the unique areas related to attorney partnership entities, NYS Empire Zone credits, and personal and corporate income tax. Tom is an experienced speaker on corporate, partnership, and personal taxation and is frequently asked to present at various venues around the Central New York area. Tom is a 1981 graduate of Niagara University; he is a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA, Cazenovia College’s Board of Trustees and Village of Liverpool Planning Board.

Tom, his wife Mary Jo and two children, Nicole and Elise, reside in Liverpool. Tom enjoys watching his children participate in sporting events such as soccer and lacrosse. When not watching the kids’ sporting events, you can find Tom out cruising the local car events in his classic 1955 Chevy. Tom and his family enjoy spending their leisure time at the family camp on Lake Ontario.
