Beyond the Numbers: Michael J. Kompf, CPA
Michael J. Kompf, CPA joined the Firm in January 2015 after Kane, Bowles & Moore, a Liverpool-based accounting and consulting Firm, merged with Dermody, Burke & Brown. He brings 29 years of public accounting experience to the firm and specializes in both tax and consulting work.
Michael received a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from SUNY Potsdam and a Master’s degree in Accounting from Syracuse University. He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Outside the office, Michael spent many years coaching basketball at the Liverpool Optimist Club and currently serves as a board member for the John M. Nice Memorial Scholarship, Inc., a small not-for-profit. He resides in Baldwinsville.
