Since joining the profession in 2007, Lindsay has spent the majority of her time helping manufacturing and distribution companies refine their financial processes.  While working at KPMG, LLP, she focused on critiquing manufacturers’ internal controls and management of inventory.  As an Audit Manager at Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC, she continues to specialize in the manufacturing industry, providing auditing, accounting, and consulting services.  Her areas of expertise include identifying risks and inefficiencies in manufacturers’ daily operations and recommending practical solutions.  

Lindsay’s areas of expertise also include audits of employee benefit plans, including ESOPs, and audits of overhead cost rates in accordance with Part 31 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations.  

Lindsay frequently presents technical topics at Firm-wide seminars.  She is a graduate of SUNY University at Buffalo and a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
