John C. Calogero is Principal owner and managing member of Calogero & Associates, LLC.  The Firm was started over sixty years ago by his father Nicholas J. Calogero, Sr.  In January of 2013, the Firm combined with Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC.  The combination of the two firms provides clients with a wider array of services and expertise.

John has over 25 years of experience in public accounting, taxation, business management, as well as commercial and residential property development and management.  He specializes in small business and not-for-profit organizations.  John and his team provide a broad range of accounting, tax and consulting services for corporate, governmental, not-for profits, small business and individual clients.  In addition to the traditional accounting services, Calogero & Associates provides payroll services and credit card processing services. 

John currently serves as President of A Better Chance of Clinton & The Mohawk Valley, Vice President of The Fort Schuyler Club and is the Treasurer of Ocean Walk 16 HOA (New Smyrna Beach, Florida).   John received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Niagara University and is a member of the National Society of Accountants and the American Payroll Association.  John is past board member of the United Way of the Valley & Greater Utica area, the Vinnie Coluzza Memorial Scholarship Fund for the Arts, the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Foundation, the American Cancer Society as well as past treasurer of the Utica Boxing Association.
