Janice Smith, CNE, has been with Dermody, Burke & Brown since 1990 and is responsible for marketing, implementing, training and supporting accounting software. She also assists clients in establishing and maintaining streamlined bookkeeping and financial accounting functions.  Her diverse client base includes health care, construction, retail, manufacturing, and a variety of not-for-profit organizations.  

Janice has provided network administration for local area networks including setting policies, troubleshooting, and training staff.   She is certified to resell, install, train and support several accounting software applications.

Janice holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a past Vice President of Finance for Congregation Beth Sholom Chevra Shas and has been a member of the Dewitt Community Library Board of Trustees and the Education Committee of the Syracuse Hebrew Day School.  Janice was also a board member of Hillel at Syracuse University, a board member of the Auxiliary of the Jewish Home of CNY and co-chair of Syracuse Jewish Federation Young Leadership Development Class.
