Beyond the Numbers: Christie Novak, MSA, CPA
Christie Novak, MSA, CPA, of Dermody, Burke & Brown, joined the Firm in 2011. As an Audit and Accounting Associate at the firm, she works on a variety of companies in various niches including Housing and Urban Development, Governmental and Not-for-Profit. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree and Masters Degree in Accounting from Syracuse University.
Christie is an adjunct professor of Governmental and Not-for-Profit Accounting at Syracuse University. She also is involved in the community as an active member of The Junior League of Syracuse, Inc., a Co-Chair Member of the Holiday Shoppes Annual Fundraiser and a student mentor at Syracuse University. She is a member of the Young Professionals group at Dermody, Burke & Brown and plans to join the Make-a-Wish’s Young Professionals Advisory Council this September. Christie resides in Marcellus with her husband Ryan.
