Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC and Testone, Marshall & Discenza, LLP teamed up on Wednesday, August 20^th to take on the popular ALS Ice Bucket Challenge as a group to raise awareness for the cause. Both firms nominated each other and, in addition to completing the challenge, donated to the ALS Association of Upstate New York.

The ice bucket challenge took place across the street from the neighboring accounting firms at the Franklin Square Park. They then nominated two global accounting affiliations and five additional local accounting firms to keep the momentum going on the effective campaign. ALS is a deadly disease and both firms are happy to join the movement and bring attention to the cause in the global effort to strike out ALS!
