Jill S.G. Palmeter, CPA and Partner at Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC, was elected to serve a fourth one-year term as Finance Chair of the Governance Council of the Women’s Fund of CNY.

The Women’s Fund of CNY provides funding to programs in a three county area that supports and empowers women and girls through advocacy, education about philanthropy, and engaging women in creating change through collective and targeted giving.

Jill has been with Dermody, Burke & Brown since 1990.  She specializes in the audits of not-for-profit organizations and is currently one of the two Not-for-Profit Niche leaders within the firm. Jill speaks on the topics of Mission-Based Management, Board Governance, and Financial Literacy at seminars for current and prospective not-for-profit clients and community groups.  She is currently on the audit/finance committees of two other organizations and is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
