The individual should enjoy working independently and as a part of a team. The individual must be detail oriented, organized and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Process 1099s, Tax Returns, Extensions, Notices
- Sorting, delivering, and handling incoming/outgoing mail and shipments.
- Run weekly, monthly & quarterly reports as requested by all departments
- Assisting with meetings set-up and clean up.
- General Office Responsibilities
- Other various projects as assigned
Qualifications Required:
- 2+ years of experience in an office environment (preferable in an Accounting Firm)
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Suite
- Well organized with flexibility and ability to effectively balance the handling of multiple assignments and tasks.
- Ability to adapt and learn new software quickly
- Successful candidate must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-moving team environment.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a group
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Full-time position
Starting at $20 per hr based on experience
Office hours are Monday ‒ Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Dependability is critical with possible overtime during busy seasons, (January-April) (September-October) which will include some evenings and Saturdays.
