Administrative Assistant

The individual should enjoy working independently and as a part of a team.  The individual must be detail oriented, organized and possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Process 1099s, Tax Returns, Extensions, Notices
  • Sorting, delivering, and handling incoming/outgoing mail and shipments.
  • Run weekly, monthly & quarterly reports as requested by all departments
  • Assisting with meetings set-up and clean up.
  • General Office Responsibilities
  • Other various projects as assigned

Qualifications Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in an office environment (preferable in an Accounting Firm)
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Suite
  • Well organized with flexibility and ability to effectively balance the handling of multiple assignments and tasks.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new software quickly
  • Successful candidate must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-moving team environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a group
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Full-time position

Starting at $20 per hr based on experience

Office hours are Monday ‒ Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Dependability is critical with possible overtime during busy seasons, (January-April) (September-October) which will include some evenings and Saturdays.
